2月6日 return of the blog... maybera ha! its a blog :D it's rather sad how i've stopped writing these things recently. i think its probably down to a combination of shear lazyness and my life becoming horrifically repettitive. rather sad really, for i did so enjoy nattering to myself on the internet and no doubt the resulting voyeristic pleasure it imparted upon everyone who was nosy enough to read it.
Soo, onto todays topic... why my job hates me!
tehe, ok, so it's not quite that bad, but then again since friday i've been living in the corridor at work because our new manager decided he rather liked the look of my desk... actually, he also liked the look of my computer aswell. so has proceeded to take both of them. sigh. quite good seeing as he hasn't even spoken to me since he started two days ago. Hence i now live in the corridor. lovely.
ooh, before i forget, jerremy paxman was once again forced to plug the newsnight podcats at the end of the show...

10月11日 changing perceptionsoh noes, i feel soo rough. maybe going to loughborough last nite and then having to get up at 5:30 this morning to get the train to work wasn't such a good idea after all. Actually, no, it deffinatly wasn't a good idea. Sigh, maybe i should just hurry up and learn how to drive my car.

found this piccy on lucys blog. at first glance it appeared a normal picture, then suddenly a thought poped into my head... those arms aren't even attached to my body! now i can't get that thought out of my head and the picture is starting to disturb me a bit. 10月2日 blogs are difficult to writealas, loughborough birthday celebrations are over and now i'm back in peterborough, sitting in front of my computer, watching JFK, and writing a blog. Why? Solely because i have nothing better to do with my time. i suppose i could be ironing a shirt for tomorro but i think i'll save that for later and give myself something to look forward to.
Oh poo, i think my almost complete lack of blogging over the summers has sevearly depleated my blogging skills. I'm finding it sevearly difficult to chronicle my exciting loughborough weekend, which is quite a shame as it was a particually good weekend. I got fed dinners (twice!!), i got very drunk, aaaaaand i went to a gig. yay!
sigh, this typing biz is hard. time for plan b.... stop writing and finish watching my film :D . niteynitexxx 10月1日 lolololhehehe, i'm watching xXx (the movie btw, not porn) on channel 5. it is raher silly. he just pulled out a pair of binoculars which are somehow able to see through brick walls 8月23日 This blog has been funded by the kind people of Perkins Engines Ltdhelloooooooo :D omg! it's a blog! woot! tehehe, wow, i havn't written one of these for aaaages, mostly due to being internet-less for the last two months :'( thus meaning my loyal band of readers (all 4 of them) has missed out on tales of such exciting adventures as me failing my driving test quite spectacularly with 2 majors and plenty of minors; loosing my mobile on the bus and it getting picked up by some little brat (got it back eventually tho); starting my shiny new job and breaking a £10000 machine two days in; moving into my fancy new house and spending the first month battling to get the hot water sorted out; me 'failing' the second year at uni (fingers crossed for the resit in september); going to the ben and jerrys summer sundae and eating more free ice-cream than i could physically handle (almost), making friends with a drunken old man on the train, getting lost on my adventure to london and many many more adventures which i can remember. hmmm, better get back to work as my washers have almost finished annealing. god i lead an exciting life. 6月14日 grrr to brendan and alexoh noes, only one more driving lesson till driving test day is upon me. hopefully i'll do super amazingly as i do with most things. Unless of course, i come across brendan and alex again. For everything was going fine and lovely all lesson today until the point where i had to reverse park, always nice to have an audience for these things so up turn brendan and alex. At which point i cock up the stearing, almost reverse into a pegout, go to straighten up to sort it out and do a quite spectaucular stall. i love it when it makes that clunk sound. And then they naffed off and everything was fine again. grr.

6月7日 rich is a looser the cheaky sod gate crashes my room to watch bblb and big brother (i have digi-telly on my computer :D ) and then goes and bally well falls asleep on my bed!! attepts to wake him by throwing stuff completly failed as they either didn't wake him or else he would wake up, thrown them back at me and then fall asleep again. 6月6日 everything is getting very expensivedriving test £60, driving lessons for actual driving test £40, more driving lessons before driving test £120, summer camp £50, new sleeping bag £20, train to summer camp £25, deposit and first months rent for peterborough house ~£450, insuring my car (if i actually pass my test) ~£800, probably more tho, booze and fun for summer camp ~£80 atleast. general loughborough food and partying untill the end of the month ~£50
hmm, that comes out at spending about £1700 between now and the end of the month. oh god, i think i want to cry, my overdraft only goes up to £1500 and fudge knows when i'll get my first pay cheque from caterpillar

help 6月1日 i'm everywheresigh. i joined bebo. yet another social networking site which does nothing but reinforce the fact that i don't really have that many friends.
it's all a bit naff really. so now, aswell as having my own website i have a myspace site, a bebo site, a flickr photo site, a frapper map, a blogger site and an msn space. dear god, i'm like an internet slut. 5月24日 mark the film reviewerthe da vinici code film is rubbish.
properly rubbish.
i mean, the acting is up to scratch and all that, but i simply didn't care. Surely the idea of a film is to draw the audience into the plot, make you empathise with the characters strugle and make it feel as if you were there, right with the characters as part of their journey.
To be honest, they could have said "fuck finding the grail, i'm off home to watch neighbours" half way through the film and i wouldn't have cared. I just found the whole thing very, very dull.
Maybe if i'd read the book i would have enjoyed it. But then again, if a film is made well i shouldn't have to.
This is a very boring film.
On the other hand, walk the line is a very good film indeed. and you won't go to hell for watching it. 5月22日 i have no self controlbloody big brother. i try soo hard not to watch it but i just can't help it. it's so wonderfully dull that once you've turned it on you're never presented with any reason to stop watching it
because of this drastic measures have been taken. for the sake of my exams, and possibly my sanity, i have removed E4 from my telly, along with channel4, E4+1, more4 and more4+1.
infact, the only channels i now have left are bbc1 (neighbours of course) and bbc2 (newsnight and a bit of topgear)
the big challenge is stopping myself reinstalling them all in a moment of weakenss. it's bound to happen, simply because i have no will power, but hopefully i'll get a few days of decent revision done in the mean time.

i got the job. woot. hmm. i'm gonna miss loughborough. and when i come back all my friends will have left. which is rubbish. because i don't have many friends. i'll still have some friends here i suppose. but they can all be counted on one hand :( bums. maybe i should become an elephant. trunk hugs look nice. 5月16日 educated markhere's a thought... a car is estimated to produce its own weight in carbon every 6000 miles which is a particually worrying thought, yet at the same time if everyone who lived in a city gave up their cars tomorro it would only cut total carbon emissions by 2.5%, aaand if everyone in the uk stopped driving tomorro the cut in produced emissions would be completly cancelled out by china's increases in just 51 days. makes you wonder just what's the point in even trying. hmm, maybe i should stop watching newsnight. the world is getting more scary by the minute, altho i'm loving the president of venezuela - he's a complete loon |
